Frances McDormand, Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri
Like a good snot-nosed punk, I was extremely, viscerally down on Three Billboards before it was cool, but McDormand is fantastic in it, as always.
If I saw her at a coffee shop, I would probably support her “Best Performance In A Coffee Shop” candidacy. She’s the not-even-close-to saving grace of that odious film.
