There seems to be a sense that either the futurist tableaux (and hologram sex) of Blade Runner 2049 will win here, or an overdue recognition given to the franchise-long, on set performance-capture achievements that culminate in War For The Planet Of The Apes.
Possible, even likely, but I’m going with the plucky upstart.
